the end of a perfect day
Here's a photo taken today in the courtyard of the orphanage. Both girls on the ends are already placed for adoption in the States, and are soon to be with their families.
Since the last entry, we went bowling and then ate mexican food. We all danced to a live band and had an overwhelming sense of God's goodness in our lives.
Zane is now taking a bath, and cheerfully taking his medicine. He's really, really, really, an amazing kid. We're blessed.

Hi Shannon,
I know you are really busy, but just want you to know you are in our prayers. It's now 9 am Saturday morning on the east coast, so it's 9 pm in Beijing. I pray you have Zane with you, and that peace and trust will begin to fill his heart that you are his forever Mom, and that God is now bringing you together in his perfect time. I know it sounds like a big concept for a 4 year old to grasp, but Matt gets it, and I know Zane will to. May God abundantly bless your family. All our love, Bobby, Matthew and ittle Matt

Zane is in good hand -- your family + GOD's biggie hands. HE will protect Zane all the way despite his lower palate count. His cheerful heart will be his greatest and efficient medicine. We will continue to lift him up in our prayers.
